It's with deep regret that we announce the death of Arch. Kamau Karogi who died on Friday the 7th May 2021 after a short illness.

Until his demise he was a Senior Lecturer in the Department. The late Arch. Karogi joined the Department of Architecture, University of Nairobi as a First Year Student during the 1973/74 Academic Year and after five years of study, he graduated with Bachelor of Architecture degree.

The College has nominated various staff and students for UoN @ 50 Celebrations. The process was made fare and inclusive through nominations being done in the departments.

The dais, constructed and designed by Tectura International, an international architectural and design firm, was used as a podium for the Pope’s address to thousands of Christians during his 2015 visit Kenya.
