Transition - Dr. Edwin Oyaro
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden death of Dr Edwin Oyaro Ondieki who passed on Friday 27th June 2022.
Until his demise, the Late Dr. Oyaro was a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Architecture, University of Nairobi. He joined the Department in December 2003.
In his 18 years of service at the University of Nairobi, Dr. Edwin Oyaro rendered many services; from teaching, research and administrative tasks. Other than his favourite unit, introducing First year students to Building Technology, he has in his time been a year master in 2nd, 3rd and 5th years. He has supervised many students in all levels from Bachelor of Architecture, Masters Class and PhD candidates.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends and colleagues.
Funeral Arrangements.
Requiem Mass shall be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at St Paul’s Chapel, UoN, at 11am.
The cortege leaves Chiromo Funeral Parlor for Kisii on Thursday June 9, 2022. Burial will take place on Friday, June 10, 2022 at his Mosocho home, next to Cardinal Otunga High School.
