It's with deep regret that we announce the death of Arch. Kamau Karogi who died on Friday the 7th May 2021 after a short illness.

Until his demise he was a Senior Lecturer in the Department. The late Arch. Karogi joined the Department of Architecture, University of Nairobi as a First Year Student during the 1973/74 Academic Year and after five years of study, he graduated with Bachelor of Architecture degree.

He later joined the Department for a Master of Architecture degree and teaching staff as Tutorial Fellow and rose through the ranks to Senior Lecturer. He is a former Chairman of Department and former Dean, School of the Built Environment (2002 to 2004: then called Faculty of Architecture, Design and Development).

A memorial service will be held on Thursday 13th May 2021 at 2.00pm at St Paul's Chapel Lower State house road. A live stream link to the service will be shared in due course.
