In recognition of our students’ accomplishments in Academia, The Dura Coat Academic
Awards of Excellence took place on the 27 th of August 2024, at the ADD Studios;
Department of Architecture, University of Nairobi. This ceremony celebrates the Academic
excellence of the top performing students in each of the departments across the faculties of
Built Environment and Design, and that of Engineering. Awardees were drawn from the
graduating classes, across the departments of Architecture, Design, Real Estate and Quantity
Surveying, and Engineering.

The award ceremony was graced by a delegation representing Basco paints MD, Mr.
Kamlesh Shah. This set things off in style, as a build-up to the long-awaited East Africa
Architecture Workshop and Exhibition.
