AN INVESTIGATION OF ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND OCCUPANCY LEVELS OF GLASS-CLADDED AND BIO- CLIMATICALLY DESIGNED BUILDINGS; - A Case of CBD, Nairobi |
Thesis / Project Abstract (Max 250 words) |

bio-climatically designed buildings. The aim is on reducing energy consumption by incorporating cooling technology and electrical appliances, such as lighting systems, into the building envelope. Energy-efficient buildings provide residents with a comfortable living environment while using minimal resources and energy. The construction process, operating maintenance cycle, and demolition are all essential steps in making a building energy-efficient. The demand for energy-efficient building designs is increasing due to the depletion of resources, climate change, rising energy prices, and the energy crisis. |
