Today,
The greatest limitations we face will only be the ones we place on ourselves.
There will always be difficulties which will tempt you to believe that your
critics
are right. I
dare
say to you all
-
value
yourselves,
be bold and
follow your
dreams. Stay committed to your decisions but be flexible in your approach. Do
not be contented with what you are or where you are, lest you lose the chance of
being who
you
sho
uld be.
T
o make sub
stantial changes in our world, w
e must
do what
must be done
to achieve
greatness
.
Success is guaranteed
with a combination
of vision
, commitment, focus,
patien
ce, persistence and persuasion when faced with
life’s
challenges.
To
all
graduating students,
we have all overcome many challenges to get to where we
are today, and every one of us has achieved success in our own ways.
T
omorrow,
W
e are starting the next phase of our lives, and there will be many
successes as
well
as
difficulties
and setbacks ahead of us. However, with
diligence
, courage
and ability, as
trained by this great institutio
n
, we will step forward
to
achieve
greater successes and make a difference in our
society
.

Let’s
f
old
up our sleeves and
get to work to
transform our country
,
bring
ing
positive sustainable change wherever we find ourselves.
As Ralph Emerson said,
(and I quote)
“Do not go where the path may lead; go instead where there is no
path and leave a trail”.
To
the industries out ther

!
we are ready
to face the job terrain head
-
on!
Ahead of us lies the real world
.
Ahead of us
are
many years of wonderful
careers. Careers that will touch millions of lives across the entire planet and
mak
e this world a
better place
. Ahead of us
are
families to raise and a
generation to inspire.
Ahead of us is immense possibility. Ahead of us is life in
all its fullness. Let’s live it.
N
ow is the time my fellow graduands. No matter how tough the global economy
is, no mat
ter what challenges lie ahead of us, we are ready to take our place in
the grand scheme of things.
One last word to the graduating class, “
We
have come,
We
have seen,
We have
learnt, We have grown, We
have done.
We
have made it.
Let us
Pay it
forward...”
M
ichelle Obama
said,
(and I quote)
“When you’ve worked hard, and done well,
and walked through that doorway of opportunity...you do not slam it shut
behind you... you reach back, and give others the same chances that help
ed you
succeed.”
Thank you all.
